Irene Hoffmann, M.A., R.S.W.

Irene is known for her warmth and an ability to connect with her clients with acceptance, respect,  kindness and strength. She works with her clients to identify goals that make sense to them.

With over 25 years of experience in both the government and not for profit sectors, Irene brings a wealth of experience to the table. 

​

Irene views her clients from a "bio/psycho/social/spiritual lens.

She uses "an eclectic approach" in that she draws from a number of theoretical orientations such as, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy to serve her clients.

She also trained in Expressive Arts Therapy and Body Focused Trauma Expressive Arts Therapy. 

Irene has attended Mount Royal University where she did most of her undergraduate work in Child and Youth Care Counselling and Social Work. She later attended Providence University College and Theological Seminary where she obtained her Master of Arts in Counselling.

Irene is a licensed "Marketplace Minister" with the Ministers Network Canada.

​

Irene is a Registered Social Worker with the Alberta College of Social Workers.

Our individual counselling sessions are rooted in faith and tailored to address your unique challenges. Through a supportive and faith-based approach, we aim to empower you to overcome obstacles and live a purposeful life.

Couples Counseling/Therapy

Our couples' counselling focuses on fostering faith-based communication, building trust, and nurturing relationships. We provide a warm and supportive environment for couples to address conflicts, strengthen intimacy, and deepen their Divine, God Given Connection.

Family Counselling/Therapy

Family Systems are an important facet of life at  Drenched Soul Therapy. We strengthen family bonds through Faith-based principles. By promoting understanding and effective communication rooted in Faith, we help families navigate challenges together and foster harmonious relationships.

During the therapy journey, the client can often experience strong emotions which sometimes can be overwhelming.  This is a natural course of recovery and part of the healing journey is to face those emotions with support and safety.
